Season 1 

Garry is lonely. His ex-girlfriend Birdie is worried about him and Garry doesn't like her new boyfriend. Garry's sadness at the loss of his mom finds its way to the surface in a comedy club. 

Garry thinks he's had the disturbing realization of a past life and can't get his friends to stop talking about it. He also finds the nerve to ask his lingerie barista on a date. 

Garry and Birdie's friendship takes an unexpected break. Candace tells Garry how old she really is and then ghosts him. He finds unexpected comfort with Sarah.... and finally starts smoking. 

Garry introduces Candace to his friends while he also tries to get them to start smoking. Candace brings Garry to her friends birthday party, where he realizes what he always knew.... They have no future and he and Birdie still aren't talking.

Birdie calls Garry from the police station. Matt might be dead. He had a gun hidden in the back of his trousers, just above the anus. Garry comes to her rescue. Birdie's sister Brie comes back from LA to check on her sister.

Garry's exccentric Uncle Willy has died. Birdie and Brie go to Reno with him for the funeral and meet a very exotic crowd of his Uncle's mob friends, former wive's, children and.... an old friend from Hollywood.
